When registering a domain, you must present correct WHOIS info and to keep it up to date all the time. If you want to update your email or home address, or if you intend to transfer the domain to someone else, you can do that through the Domain Manager interface.

Just hit the Edit WHOIS button beside the domain name in question and then alter the corresponding registrant, technical and administrative information. When you push the Update button, the modifications will be momentarily updated online.

If you need to point your domain to some other site or a sub–domain to a given section of your website, we have an excellent solution for your needs. You no longer need to use .htaccess redirection strategies – you will be able to carry out these procedures via our handy domain forwarding tool.

All you need to do to forward your domain is indicate where exactly it must lead. Our intelligent system will carry out everything else and your domain will begin to point to the desired location immediately.

You will be able to park an active domain name by pointing it to one of Dedec Mexico’s two domain parking templates – For Sale or Under Construction. The domain parking process is quite easy and will take effect momentarily. You can park as many domains as you want. And in case you need to un–park the domain – you can perform this operation with a simple click of the mouse.

In addition, you can tweak our two domain name parking templates using custom text and images to make them more personalized.

From our Domain Manager, you can easily administer plenty of domains from just one single location. You’ll be granted access to an enormous set of DNS controls and will be able modify different domains at once.

Also, if you also have a cloud hosting account with Dedec Mexico, you will be able to administer both your domain names and your web sites from just one place.

In the Control Panel there is a point–and–click domain name management interface with heaps of features for managing numerous domains simultaneously. You can easily create subdomains, forward sites, alter the name servers or the WHOIS details associated with a domain name, add custom DNS entries plus much more.

Other than the standard domain controls, in the Domain Manager you’ll also find an option to shield your domain registration details using the Whois Privacy Protection option and to secure your web shop’s transactions with regular or wildcard SSLs.

With Dedec Mexico, you can easily protect your domain name from being taken away without your permission by "locking" it at your current domain registrar. This will not affect the way the domain name works in the slightest, but will automatically stop all domain transfer requests.

If you have to transfer your domain name, you can easily unlock it. Locking & unlocking a domain is rather simple and requires just one single click.
